1-Mile Fun Run

  1. Where do I pick up my race packet and bib?
    Race-day registration and packet pick-up will begin at 6:45am at Barcarrota and Old Main Street in front of Pier22. If registering on Saturday, February 3rd, please visit the YELLOW day-of registration tent. Registration will close at 7:40am. Day-of registration will be $35.00. Cash, check and/or credit cards will be accepted.
  2. What time does the race start and when should I arrive?
    The 5K run and 1 Mile Family Fun Run will begin at 8:00am sharp. Plan to arrive by 7:20am in order to park near the event venue and avoid Road Closures beginning at 4:00am. The Green Bridge (9th St W) will be closed all day Saturday. Plan to use US-41/Tamiami Trail (DeSoto Bridge) if coming from the North.
  3. Where do I park?
    Primary event parking is located at the Bradenton Municipal Auditorium - 1,200 free on-street parking spots and parking garages are also within Downtown Bradenton.
  4. Where can I use the restrooms?
    RiverWalk restrooms will be open for use. 5. Are there water stops along the
  5. 5k course? Yes, we will have one water stop along the 5k course, which you will pass twice. Post-race water will also be available near the Start/Finish.
  6. Who is the race benefitting?
    Proceeds from the FALCON 5K race benefit the Saint Stephen’s Booster program. Saint Stephen’s also underwrites runners from the Boys & Girls Club of Manatee who participate in the 1-Mile Family Fun.
  7. How is my time recorded?
    All 5K participants will receive a disposable timing chip on the back of their bib. This chip will begin timing once you cross the start, recording your net time until you cross the finish. PLEASE DO NOT TRADE BIBS!
  8. What could I win?
    Top Male/Female Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters, and Veteran Grand Masters finishers will receive a trophy. All 1-Mile participants receive finisher’s ribbons provided by the Trophy Case.
  9. Where will results be posted?
  10. Is there anything planned for after the race?
    Of course! After you run, a pancake breakfast provided by Popi’s Restaurant, live DJ, make for a great start to the weekend long Bradenton Area RiverWalk Regatta powerboat races.
