Accessibility

We aim at the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, level AA. That is the standard, not a certificate — see the next section for where we fall short of it.

• Every page is checked automatically against accessibility rules before it can ship, on phone, tablet and desktop widths.
• The whole site can be operated with a keyboard, and headings and landmarks are structured so a screen reader can skim a page.
• Every button and link carries a name a screen reader can announce.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations do not play; the page simply arrives finished.
• Films are captioned where captions were supplied to us.

We would rather tell you than have you find out. As of September 13, 2026:

• Many photographs on the site carry no written description, so a screen reader passes over them in silence. We are working through them.
• Some documents we link to are PDFs produced elsewhere, and we cannot promise every one of them is readable by a screen reader. Ask us and we will send you the content another way.
• Parts of the site that are run by other companies — the giving form and the family portal — follow their own accessibility work, not ours.
• No independent audit has been carried out. We do not claim full conformance.
