For Current Families
Family Calendar 2026–27
Here is every date on the school’s official one-page family calendar — no-school days, early releases, classes-resume days, conferences, and senior milestones.
Opening Day for classes at all grade levels is Thursday, August 20; the last day of school is May 28, with Baccalaureate on May 20 and Graduation on May 22.
Parents' Association
The SSES Parents’ Association coordinates parent volunteers, fosters communication between families and the school administration, and supports the school’s philosophy and activities.
All current parents are automatically members. Opportunities include event support, serving as a room parent, or acting as a new family ambassador.
The Parents’ Association also organizes fund-raising and community-building events throughout the school year.
Transportation
Saint Stephen’s provides fee-based bus and van transportation for students in the mornings and afternoons.
A single annual fee is charged per family, regardless of the number of children using the service. Transportation for athletic teams to games is coordinated separately by the Athletic Director.
Dress Code
Saint Stephen’s maintains specific dress and uniform requirements to reflect respect for the school community and its educational goals.
Lower and Intermediate School uniforms are required. Middle and Upper School students adhere to a formal dress code. Daily attire requires polo, oxford-style, or turtleneck shirts.
Health & Safety
Saint Stephen’s gives top priority to the safety of everyone in its community. During the school day, there are only two entry points to the fully gated campus and security is provided by a team of experienced, former law enforcement professionals.
The school also employs a full-time nurse to manage health issues including the treatment of minor injuries, student medication needs during the school day, training of faculty and staff on the use of on-campus AED devices, and more.
