From the Enrollment Management Office

We’re glad you’re here.

Admission is a conversation, not a gauntlet. Tell us about your child and we’ll walk you through every step — from a first campus tour to the first day of school.

Admission: Step by Step

The five admission steps

  1. Visit (Year-round): Tour the campus in person or by live video — about an hour, most any day of the year. Most families start here.
  2. Apply (Open now): Start a new application or return to an existing one — the same portal handles both. A $100 one-time, non-refundable fee is due with the application, one per child.
  3. Shadow Day (From October): Once your application is in, your child spends a day on campus — classes, lunch, a student host in grades 4–12, and the admissions assessment.
  4. Decision (Mid-November): With the file complete, the committee decides. Early Decision notifications from mid-November; enrollment contracts early February; applications after February 1 are reviewed all year.
  5. Enroll (Early February): Submit the tuition deposit and enrollment contract, then complete the records checklist to join the Falcon family.

The Process

Every application starts with a visit to our beautiful campus , then apply , spend a Shadow Day with other Falcons , before the decision  — then enroll. Happy applying!

Affording Saint Stephen’s

Financial aid is a conversation, not a formula.

A Saint Stephen’s education should be within reach for the families who belong here — which is why we award more than $2-million in financial assistance every year, and why the first question is always about your child, never your bank statement.

Peter Kraft · Head of School

$2M+

in need-based aid is awarded to families every year. Priority is given to new students in grades 6-12.

28%

of families received some level of tuition assistance during the 2025-26 school year.

Beyond tuition

aid can help fund books, technology, and activities, too
