Program

Lacrosse at SSES registered a steady climb from its founding in 2013 until low participation numbers caused a pause five games into the 2024 season. Saint Stephen's posted three consecutive 11-win seasons and a 33-10 record from 2021-23, including a district championship in 2021. Since relaunching in 2025, the Falcons are a combined 14-15 and are well positioned for success under Head Coach Spencer Wright. Wright was an All-American at Syracuse, where he played in four national title games and won NCAA championships in 2000 and 2002. He also played six pro seasons, was an assistant at Manhattan College, and helped develop IMG Academy's program. SSES lacrosse alums already include a national champion in 2023 grad Matt Vara, who helped the University of Tampa win the 2026 NCAA Division II national title.
