Program

Very few high school programs have been as consistently successful as SSES. Since winning the state title in 2001, Saint Stephen's has advanced to the Final Four three times – in 2011, 2014, and 2015 – and the 2025-26 team came within one victory of returning. The Falcons went 12-4-2 and won seven straight games before dropping the regional final. They captured the program's 24th district title and 13th in the past 15 years. From 2010-19, under legendary former coach Marc Jones, Saint Stephen's posted a 109-20-18 record without a district loss – a string of 56 games in which SSES went 53-0-3. The Falcons have produced a string of successful Division I collegiate players, led by Brad Rusin, who was an All-American and first-team all-state performer in 2005. He went on to become an all-conference player at UCLA and appeared in 187 professional matches with various MLS, NASL and USL teams.
