Program
No sports program at SSES has evolved from launch to state Final Four participant faster. In just their 10th season of varsity competition, the Falcons ran off 17 consecutive wins to open the 2023 season and advanced to the FHSAA Final Four. SSES repeated that feat in 2024, boasting an 18-2 record. The program began as a club team in 2009, reached varsity status in 2013, and has won six district titles in the past 12 years. The Falcons are led in 2027 by new Head Coach Taylor Vara, a 2021 graduate who played at East Stroudsburg University. Multiple SSES alums have gone on to play collegiately, led by goalkeeper Annesley Flint, who helped lead Florida Southern to the 2026 NCAA Division II national championship, starting 13 games as a freshman.
