Florida Council of Independent Schools - website
The Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) is a professional education association founded in 1954 by a small group of independent private school leaders. Their purpose was to establish high standards for nonpublic schools. Today, FCIS evaluates and accredits independent schools throughout Florida. As one of the nation's largest organizations of independent schools, it represents over 73,000 students in 159 member schools. The Council assures that each school maintains high standards and independence of character without political, financial, or bureaucratic pressures.

Southern Association of Colleges & Schools - website
The mission of the Southern Association of Colleges And Schools is the improvement of Ediucation in the South through accreditation. SACS CASI accredits over 13,000 schools and school systems throughout the United States and overseas. SACS CASI (Council on Accreditation and School Improvement) is the global leader in helping schools improve student learning through accreditation.

Florida High School Athletic Association - website
The Florida High School Athletic Association, forerunner of the Florida High School Activities Association, was founded on April 9, 1920 by a group of 29 high school principals which meet at Peabody Hall on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville. Although several preliminary discussions had been held concerning the formation of such an Association, it was not until this meeting that the Association was formally organized.

Florida Kindergarten Council - website
The Florida Kindergarten Council reviews educational issues and informs members regarding pertinent legislation, meets in regional groups for informative workshops, share ideas for curriculum improvements, and offers assistance to inquiring schools. At present, FKC has over 170 schools in our membership and are striving to increase that number throughout the State of Florida. The Florida Kindergarten Council is a member of the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS) and as such has been recognized as an official evaluating and accrediting organization for the nonpublic early childhood schools in the State of Florida.
