Affiliations  Saint Stephen's is pleased to welcome a limited number of student-athletes from the IMG Sports Academy in our Middle and Upper School divisions. These students are able to complete a full course load while maintaining a modified schedule to allow for athletic training. Mandatory evening study halls run by Saint Stephen's teachers take place on the IMG campus four evenings per week to assist with coursework. Student athletes also have the opportunity to participate in school-related social activities and field trips via IMG transportation. The focus is on improving educational opportunities in remote locations which accommodate the poorest of the country's student population, often in villages that lack many 21st century basics. Global Outreach works hand in hand with government officials and private school providers to establish computer laboratories in secondary schools, train teachers and technicians to support the installations, develop syllabuses for Tanzanian students, and establish partnerships with national initiatives to ensure ongoing value for the skills imparted. Global Outreach furnishes laboratories with electrical capacity (often solar installations), furnishings, hardware and software, supplies, and special educational equipment. Students at Saint Stephen's Episcopal School support Global Outreach by providing curriculum support materials including websites and CD-ROMs as well as designing and hosting the official Global Outreach website.
